What gives? Why does airport work with iBoot and not with the normal boot? That is how I am typing this message, this drive booted with iBoot and enabled the Airport wifi, where without iBoot the drive booted itself but also could not let the Airport work. Instead of just booting up with hard disk #1 if I boot using the iBoot CD (the latest version) the drives will all appear in the bootup menu and then drive #2 osx 10.6.8 can be selected like before and this time will boot up and the airport will work fine. the original drive #1 is booted and the install combo update package for osx 10.6.8 is put onto drive #2īootup is from BIOS to Drive #1 (chameleon) where I select Drive #2 OSX 10.6.8 which then boots successfully (perhaps I gave up too early on prior attempts as there is now no spinning wheel under the gray apple) with no more changes but digital audio does not work (it will with further multibeast so not a big deal) but more importantly the airport card does not work.
